Book List by Group - Reading Champ 2026

Dear Eye Level Parents,

We are excited to share the details of our Eye Level Reading Champion Event.

Purpose of the Event The Eye Level Reading Champion is designed to foster a love of reading, promote critical thinking, and build confidence in students through friendly competition. By diving into engaging stories and answering thoughtfully designed questions, students will enhance their reading comprehension and analytical skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Who Can Join: Students enrolled in Grades 1 through 6 for the 2026–2027 School Year are eligible to participate:
● Group A: Grades 1 & 2
● Group B: Grades 3 & 4
● Group C: Grades 5 & 6

How It Works Each student will read five selected books assigned to their group level. On the contest day, they will complete a multiple-choice quiz based on these books, with questions ranging from very easy to very hard (Levels 1–5). The quiz is designed to test comprehension, vocabulary, and inference skills. Awards and recognition will be given to top scorers.

Timeline
● Now – August 31, 2026: Registration period
● August or September, 2026: Contest date (contact center)

Contest Location & Time The event will be held in person at your local Eye Level Learning Center. Please contact your center’s director for the exact contest date and time.

Q: Is there a registration fee? A: No.
Q: Do students have to read all the books? A: Yes, in order to compete successfully, students should read all the books in their group.
Q: Can students participate online? A: No. The contest is in-person and hosted at each local center.
Q: Will there be prizes? A: Yes! Top scorers will receive certificates and/or Trophy
Q: Where can we get the books? A: Books can be purchased online or at local bookstores.
