We always end the year with a staff celebration. We say goodbye to staff members flying off to their next adventure, celebrate successes, and reflect on all we have accomplished. The 2025-2026 school year is officially over, and what a good year it was!

The last day of school is always marked with emotion and celebration. Lots of tears, lots of laughter, and lots of intentional, quality time. Yesterday, we had a packed schedule that included breakfast, yearbook signing, awards, the crowning of Mr. and Mrs. Seahawk, a final slide show, parting words form Mrs. Schulte, recess, and a final walk of the halls. Saying goodbye to our 8th graders is never easy, but this is the first group we have only gotten to grow for 2 years. We know they are ready for their next journey, but what we wouldn’t give for just a little more time!

Seahawk Games has become a treasured and memorable event for so many reasons. It’s a day of hard work, competition, connection, camaraderie, and fun. Every year we reflect, and this year the overwhelming theme was KINSHIP! They were all present! Participating! Encouraging! Supporting! Operating as a family. Our quiet, solace seekers were DOMINATING hula frogger competitions; our high-throttle competitors were cheering on the side-lines; and at the end of it all, students were on their hands and knees picking up balloon-toss shrapnel and carrying chairs and supplies back to their homes. We are so proud of this community we’ve built! 🦅💙
