Join us for the inaugural Friday Night Lights event as Melissa ISD celebrates the traditions and excitement of Friday night football. This community event at Coach Kenny Deel Stadium on August 14 will spotlight the varsity programs that help create the Friday night experience, including Football, Cheer, Band, Color Guard, Athletic Training, and the Ruby Belles Drill Team. We can't wait to welcome our students and families back for the 2026-2027 school year! Join us for Meet the Teacher on Monday, August 10, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. or 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Students and families are invited to meet their classroom teacher, drop off school supplies, and get excited for the first day of school.
