School safety drills are routine practices that help students and staff respond calmly and correctly during emergencies like fires, severe weather, or security threats. We will be practicing our safety drills on Friday, August 21. Parents can support these efforts by staying informed, keeping contact info updated, and talking calmly with their children about why schools practice these important safety routines. Thank you

LUNCH VISITATION BEGINS FRIDAY, OCTOBER 2nd.

*EACH PERSON MUST provide a valid driver license and the students pass card (pictured below) in order to have lunch with a child.
*Parents/Guardians who wish to eat lunch with their child are ONLY allowed to have their child move to the back table. This means no relatives or friends of your child may accompany them. Parents are not allowed to use a cell phone to take pictures while eating lunch. You might accidentally include other students whose parent/guardian doesn’t wish to have them displayed on social media and pose a security risk.

If you need to know your childs lunch time, call the office at 731-352-5272.

Car Rider and Walker Rules:

Please remain in your car and wait for your child to be called to your vehicle. Parents that need to buckle a child in, park and wait in the grassy area where the McKenzie Elementary sign is located and wait for us to dismiss your child to you. Also, if you are walking up from nearby to walk your child home, please wait in that grassy area too. We will not dismiss walkers until car rider line is almost finished. It has become very busy and hectic while dismissing students going out to wait for their ride at a cone. We will be doing this to help with traffic and keep the flow moving. Too many are trying to avoid the line, but it will move faster if everyone will cooperate. Thank you for understanding.
