Our friends in Cali need a little love from Tennessee right now. 💜🇨🇴

Colegio Americano isn’t just a school on one of our itineraries. It’s a community Bethel Global Studies has spent time with, learned from, served alongside, and grown to care deeply about.

After a recent earthquake caused significant damage throughout their community, some Colegio Americano families are facing an especially difficult start to the school year. Our friends there told us one meaningful way we can help is by supporting scholarships for families struggling to keep their children enrolled.

So on September 14, we’re showing up the Bethel Global Studies way: together, with a little salsa involved. 💃

And these aren’t just any salsa lessons. Our friends at Swing Latino in Colombia will be teaching us LIVE via Zoom! 🇨🇴

Operation: Get Ms. Bobbie to Italy is officially underway. 🇮🇹🍦

Ms. Bobbie is an Educational Assistant at Gleason School PreK-12 and has never traveled that far from home. As she put it, “If it happens, it’d be like a dream.” 🥹 She’s fundraising for her trip at her son’s shop, Italian Ice & Froyo Co., which means supporting Ms. Bobbie currently involves eating froyo... Tough assignment, but somebody’s gotta do it. 🍦

Step one: go support Ms. Bobbie Lipscomb (and get the froyo, obviously).
