We have had a busy last few weeks wrapping up community days.
Our essentials students (4-6th grade) each chose a person from ancient history to research and present about.

We also finished up our fine arts learning about orchestra and composers. We had several students share some pieces from those composers and other writers.
We even had one of our very own CC Dads play for us on the piano.

We celebrated “read across America” and Dr. Seuss last week at community day. The kids enjoyed dressing up and the older kids reading to the younger ones.

We are learning about trees and plants so Mr. Dennie Davidson with the TN Department of Forestry came to teach us a lesson on Tennessee’s trees. It was great and the kids really enjoyed all the information, especially their own tree identification books.
