We’re proud of Renaissance Resound, our student worship leadership team, and our live Rhythm Section as they lead worship each evening this week for the revival services at First Baptist Church in Bolivar.

It’s a joy to see our students use their gifts to serve the church and represent Bethel University so well. 🎶

What a day for Bethel University! 🎶🥁

Take a look at some of these amazing pictures from last Saturday’s Renaissance Marching Invitational! We welcomed 17 high school marching bands from across the region and an estimated 2,500–3,000 students, directors, staff, family members, and fans to campus. We loved seeing Walter Butler Stadium filled with music, energy, and school spirit.

Events this large happen because people across Bethel come together. Steve Cothran, Director of Renaissance Instrumental, and Tremayne Johnson, Associate Director of Renaissance Instrumental, provided outstanding leadership. Becca Walter was fantastic in helping keep the countless details moving. We’re also grateful for Renaissance students and staff, BU Security, Maintenance, MMI (for catering), Athletics for running concessions, our seven food truck vendors, and everyone else who helped welcome our guests and care for them throughout the day. This was truly a "One Bethel" kind of day!

To every band that performed: thank you for sharing your hard work and talent with us. We were honored to host you, and we hope you’ll come back next year!

Tickets are now on sale for Come From Away!

Come From Away tells the true story of 38 planes diverted to Gander, Newfoundland, on September 11. Nearly 7,000 passengers arrived in a town whose population doubled overnight. The people of Gander opened their homes, shared what they had, and cared for strangers who had come from away.

We hope you’ll join us for this powerful story of kindness amid uncertainty.
