As construction on our McKenzie campus winds up, it is necessary to close the Highland Street entrance for up to two weeks.

🚫⚠️ TCAT-McKENZIE HIGHLAND DRIVE ENTRANCE IS CLOSED

The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Henry/Carroll's McKenzie campus is still under construction, but sources say that the renovation project should be completely wrapped up by the end of April.

In the meantime, TCAT Henry/Carroll Vice President Jan Latimer warns that the McKenzie campus's front driveway off Highland Drive is closed to all traffic for approximately two weeks starting Tuesday, March 31.

Construction work on that driveway is reportedly one of the last steps in the campus-wide renovation project.

Anyone wishing to visit the McKenzie campus needs to enter from the school's back entrance, which can be accessed off of Highway 22 to Medical Center Drive or off Eastwood Drive.

These ladies work hard to keep the pantries stocked for students who need breakfast or lunch while on campus. Thank you to our local Rotary Club for supporting our students in this way.

McKenzie Rotary in Action This Week
This week, McKenzie Rotary took decisive action by delivering food items to the TCAT location in McKenzie, ensuring the food pantry is fully stocked. TCAT Vice President Jan Latimer emphasized, “These food items are vital for students who are facing challenges in making ends meet while pursuing their education. This pantry provides students with the necessary resources to grab a lunch when needed.” Armand Hebert stated, "It is opportunities like this that align with one of our local areas of service, Dedicated to our youth." Will be sharing more in the coming weeks as McKenzie Rotary continues on its path to eradicate hunger in McKenzie.

Due to ongoing hazardous road conditions and temperatures, the Tennessee College of Applied Technology Henry/Carroll will be closed for in person classes on Tuesday January 27th and Wednesday January 28th. Students and faculty will be on a remote hybrid platform for those days. A decision about Thursdays classes will be announced on Wednesday afternoon.
