UPCOMING EVENTS:
If you drive to school, you must have a parking pass. Please pick up a form in the office. Fee is $10. Every driver needs a pass displayed on your car mirror daily. We will start checking cars in the parking lot for passes.
Please make sure your vehicles are moved from the faculty parking lot by 3:15.
Seniors, please turn money and permission slips for the Bethel College Fair in to Mrs. Ashley Lowe by Friday, Sept 4.
The library will be closed during both lunches on Tues, Sept 8. Mrs. Carol will be gone to Bethel with the seniors.
Balfour will be here on Monday, Sept 14 to talk to juniors about class rings and seniors about senior supplies. Also if anyone has lettered in a sport that wants to order a letter jacket or needs to order patches for a jacket can do so on that day.
Anyone wanting to join DECA must turn in the $20 dues to Mrs. Beard by Sept 18.
Parent – Teacher conference will be on Thursday, Sept 10 from 3:30-6:30.
The Junior Class is hosting a homecoming dance on Sept 25 from 10 pm – 12 am. Cost is $20 to be paid at the door and you MUST have a signed parent waiver to enter. Please pick up a waiver in the front office and return by Sept 25. ONLY MHS students are welcome to come. Location is on the back lawn at Hometown Hangout.
The 2026-27 Library Reading Challenge is taking place now. Stop by the library to scan the QR code to log your book for this year. The top 5 winners will receive lunch at the Happy Bookstack along with a gift card. The competition ends in April. Also, don’t forget to stop by the library to check out a book and answer the Question of the Day poll.
