Little Treasures Preschool and Daycare in Mckenna offers all day care paired with a structured early education curriculum. Working parents can get reliable, full or extended hours daycare plus a real preschool curriculum so children do not need to switch facilities.

Our hours are Monday to Friday from 5:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Full days: up to 9 hours are $75 per day.
Extended days: up to 11.5 hours are $85 per day.
All meals and snacks are included.
We are closed:
Memorial Day
July 4th
Labor Day
Thanksgiving Day & the Friday after
Christmas through the New Years holiday(dates change yearly.)

🪴Today we used kale from our ongoing, year round gardening project. We made pasta with sautéed kale and a lemon, ricotta and herb sauce. There was also some herb crusted grilled chicken to go along with it. This was another winner with the kids for lunch.🪴

🪴Involving preschoolers in growing, harvesting, and cooking their own food builds healthy eating habits, teaches where food comes from, and develops physical and cognitive skills. This seed to table approach transforms daily nutrition into a powerful, multi sensory classroom for young children.🪴

Are you looking for childcare that includes a preschool program? We currently have a couple of full time spots available. We previously won Best preschool in Nisqually Valley for 2022, 2023 and 2024. We are open daily from 5:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. and offer full day and extended day options in a safe, stimulating and loving environment. We have small class sizes to make sure each child gets the care and attention that will benefit their individual needs. We have daily preschool classes, art and outside play. 🎃 Growing a pumpkin patch with kids teaches responsibility, introduces foundational science like life cycles and pollination, and gets them active in the outdoors. 🍎This week our kids baked a healthy sugar free cake full of apples, yogurt, oats, cinnamon and a few other ingredients. Food activities turn the kitchen into a fun, hands-on classroom where they build essential skills like measuring, patience, and following directions. It also provides a great low-pressure environment for them to try new foods! 🍎
