Due to the extreme weather this evening and the closure of several of our districts, including our home district of McKeesport, Serra Catholic will be closed for in-person instruction on Friday, September 4. Instructions for "Chrome from Home" will be sent to students in the morning.

For those who are impacted with a power loss in their home, appropriate accommodations will be afforded to students who need additional time to complete assignments that are posted.

At this time, after school activities that are scheduled for September 4th will still take place.

Fun under the Friday Night Lights 🦅🏈🌴

Our first home football game of the season featured a beach theme in the student section and an appearance by our new mascot! Thanks to the Spirit Club for planning the pre-game tailgate. ❤💛

Celebrating Student Achievements ❤💛

This morning, the Class of 2027 gathered in the Chapel to receive the awards they earned during their junior year. Serra Catholic offers recognition in the following ways:

🦅Subject medals: Awarded to the top-performing student in each subject
🦅Merit Awards: Given to high-performing students in each subject
🦅Appreciation Awards: Given to students who excel in activities, organizations, and athletics

Congratulations to all our seniors! Juniors and sophomores will receive their awards in the coming weeks.
