Young Scholars of Greater Allegheny Charter School YSGA. Laying the foundation for future leaders. YSGA is replicated from two high-achieving charter schools in Pennsylvania.

Young Scholars of Greater Allegheny Charter School (YSGA) in McKeesport, PA, and focuses on teaching students to be life-long learners with an emphasis on Mathematics, Science, and Technology to prepare them for a global economy. Our no-tuition public school offers a rigorous curriculum in a fun and interactive environment emphasizing world cultures and languages. YSGA limits class size to only 20 students and offers many opportunities for parents to be involved in their students’ education.

YSGA has been selected to receive Classroom Cheer Kits from local nonprofit Beverly’s PGH for the 2026–2027 school year. These kits provide special birthday tokens so every student can feel celebrated on their birthday.

Will you consider making a donation to support the campaign and help ensure our school can celebrate every student? Every $1 donated will be matched dollar for dollar up to $5,000, doubling the impact.
