📣 IMMEDIATE OPENING — Archangel Gabriel Catholic School

We're looking for a short-term substitute teacher for Middle School Social Studies (grades 6–8) and 8th Grade Religion, August 24 through October 1.

Six weeks. A clear start and a clear end. If you're a certified teacher between positions, a retired teacher who misses the classroom, or a sub looking for a steady stretch instead of day-to-day calls, this one's worth a look.

What we're looking for:
• Bachelor's degree in education or a related field
• A practicing Catholic with a background in social studies
• Comfort with Google Workspace for Education
• PA teaching certificate preferred; Catholic school experience a plus

🏃‍♂️AGS Cross Country kicked off the season today with a strong showing at the St. Louise meet, with 18 runners completing their first XC race. Varsity girls finished 1st and Developmental boys finished 2nd.

There were many strong individual performances with 14 top 10 finishers, including a 1st overall for Grant S. in the developmental boys race. Go Knights!!! 🏃 🏃‍♀️

Oh, what a night! Our AGS Back-to-School Picnic was a blast, and we had such a great turnout! The night was filled with water games, yard games, shaved ice, a balloon artist, a DJ, and lots of delicious food. It was the perfect way to kick off a new school year together!

A huge thank you to our PTG for putting it all together and to all of our AGS families who came out to celebrate with us. We’re so excited for another great year!

⚓Mrs. Beck’s 4th grade class had a terrific time catching up with friends and getting ready for a wonderful new school year. They’re excited for all the learning, fun, and memories the year ahead will bring!

At AGS, our theme for the 2026-2027 school year is "Anchored in Faith & Learning" and 6th grade is ready! All of our students have had such a wonderful first two days of school!
