NEWS FLASH…
Classmates mark your calendars. Somehow it seems we graduated 60 years ago!! We will be celebrating at Rockefellers in Kennedy Township on October 3rd 2026!

Additionally, we have been having casual luncheons every few months and have been trying to contact classmates who live locally. We will post on our newly created private group page. Thank you to all who attended the Stowe HS Class of 1966 Luncheon today. It was a beautiful day to get out after all of the snow and cold weather. We shared stories of what we endured during that cold, snowy, spell, and how we dug out of all of that snow.

Although I have no pictures to share, we had a wonderful time spending a couple of hours together that included ordering from the menu and Pam Rippole serving up a decorated, delicious cake for dessert.

Attendees for today were Mary Lou (Battista) and Dennis Veltre, Pam (Tobin) Rippole, Debbie (P***o) Sommer, Nancy (Klucick) DeSalle, Frank and Trish Mirth, Rich Derzic, Ed (Joe) and Sharon McLaughlin, Bill and Linda Hieber, Sandy (DeFrancesco) and Jim Gordon. In addition, our classmate Bill Leja surprised us and attended the luncheon today. We were thrilled and look forward to him attending these luncheons on a regular basis.

DON'T FORGET TO SAVE THE FIRST 2 SATURDAYS IN OCTOBER FOR OUR 60TH CLASS REUNION. INVITATIONS AND DETAILS WILL FOLLOW. We are hoping to see all of our classmates attend this special event.

Stowe HS Class of 1966 luncheon, February 17, 2026, 2:00 pm, JDs Joint, Kennedy Shopping Center. Please contact PAM Tobin Rippole by text to let her know if you will or will not attend.

We hope you are all staying warm and safe as you navigate this unusual year of cold and snow. It looks like the forecast calls for moderating temperatures beginning next week. What a relief! In light of that good news, let's all plan to get out for a few hours to attend the luncheon as we are really looking forward to seeing everyone.

FYI: Please remember to save the first two weekends of October 2026 as the committee finalizes the details and venue for our 60th class reunion. Thanks so much and see you soon!

HAPPY NEW YEAR! We hope you had a great holiday season and are ready to start our the NEW YEAR luncheons and preparing for our 60th reunion.

Our next luncheon is scheduled for February 17, 2026, at JDs Joint, at 2 pm. Please join us.

Please save the first 2 weekends of October 2026 on your calendars and join us to celebrate our 60th class reunion. One of those dates will be announced soon through email, mail, and a post on our FB Page. We hope to see you at both the luncheons and our 60th reunion.

Please join us on December 1, 2025, at 2 pm at JDs Joint for a special luncheon. Linda Kabay will be visiting from Virginia and would like to see everyone if possible. There will still be a January 2026 luncheon as well...date to be determined.

Stowe HS 60th Class Reunion
The Committee is looking at late September or early October 2026 to celebrate our 60th reunion. The Committee will send out a "Save the Date" as soon as a date is finalized.

I have sad news to share with the Class of 66. Audrey Dudash Haendler passed away. We were fortunate to see her at the 57th reunion and shared those special moments with her and her husband. Love and prayers sent to her family during this difficult time. RIP Audrey.

Mr. Wakeriak's party and luncheon was organized by Pam Tobin Rippole and the Committee (Nancy, Debbie and Mary Lou). So, they really do deserve all the credit. I apologize for the candid picture taking and to those that may have been left out of the photos. I don't know what I did with my senior citizen iPhone that caused a few pictures to blur so badly that I didn't post them. It was really poor picture taking on my part and I strive to do better in the future.
