Dear friends,

After careful consideration and under the guidance of my doctors, I will be taking a medical leave after the summer semester. As a result, it will be necessary to postpone the 2026 All Things Pittsburgh Play Festival.

Over the past 3.5 years, we’ve built a thriving community of over 500 actors and a studio grounded in rigorous, professional training and meaningful work. More importantly, we’ve built an ensemble—a supportive group of artists committed to learning, growth, and helping one another succeed.

I will be taking time this summer to rest and recover, and I look forward to returning refreshed in the fall.

Classes will resume as scheduled with a full lineup in September, and we are planning for the All Things Pittsburgh Play Festival to return next spring. We're also exploring the possibility of a mainstage production in between. In other words, this is just a short pause—there are plenty of exciting things ahead!

Thank you for your understanding, your support, and for being part of this community.

Six weeks into Acting 101, these actors showed up ready to jump to the next level. Working on a scene from Precipice by William Mastrosimone, where the question is literally “to jump or not to jump,” they didn’t hesitate. They took risks, followed their impulses, and trusted their scene partners. That’s what skilled actors do.

More than 25 ensemble actors are performing on Pittsburgh stages this month and we're celebrating Jack, Hannah, Daniel, Eric, Ayden, Johnny, Andrew, and Mike opening shows this weekend!

Go cheer them on in Picnic at The Bobcat Players and Hamlet: The Bad Quarto produced by Jeremy Seghers at The Richard E. Rauh Studio Theater.
