We each bring something different in background & experience, and will work together to stabilize the finances of the district and attain a balanced budget. We see concessions as the only way to balance this budget. If elected, we vow to continue our vigilance in reducing the district’s expenses in light of our uncertain economic outlook. We will work hard to improve the financial stability of Dis
trict 156 while maintaining a comprehensive high school experience for our children that would include Honors & Advanced Placement classes, as well as extra-curricular activities. We recognize the issue is not just about sports, extra-curricular activities and a strong curriculum, but also about the overall quality of life for our community. For the residents who want to live in McHenry, we are committed to maintaining a school district where it is desirable to seek employment, own a business, & educate our youth. We will fight to protect a well-rounded education for our children, a good quality of life for our residents, and the continuation of the McHenry High School District as being a great place to live, work and play.
