McFarland Education Foundation

Thank you to our incredible donors, scholarship announcers and presenters, board members, along with scholarship recipients and their families who all made this year's Scholarship Night a special evening. It was wonderful to honor all the hard work and accomplishments of the 2026 graduating senior scholarship recipients!

This year, we were able to present 61 scholarships from our endowed and pass-through donors. The MEF awarded 23 MEF Director's Scholarships and funded the Spartan Award given at graduation. In total, MEF awarded 85 scholarships totaling $80,000 to the graduating class of 2026!

Join McFarland School District for a special community screening of “An Invitation to Wonder,” a visually stunning PBS-distributed film by Wisconsin filmmaker Ben Albert. Inspired by the stewardship of his grandfather, retired UW wetland scientist Cal DeWitt, Ben explores the hidden wonder of our Waubesa Wetlands.

The McFarland Education Foundation is excited to partner with the Lake Waubesa Conservation Association to support McFarland Schools in bringing this local treasure to the big screen.

Past grants include the Anxious Generation Community Book Read, an earthquake machine for the 8th grade science department, a refrigerator for the Spartan Cafe at McFarland High School, and the Gift of Reading at McFarland Primary School.

THANK YOU to all who participated in the MEF's annual Winter Silent Auction: our generous donors, bidders, board members and volunteers!

We are thrilled to announce that we were incredibly successful with our fundraising efforts this year! We raised $8,710 with donated items, had 80 online bidders, and had a very busy booth at the Craft & Vendor Fair! This money goes directly to our educator grants fund which awards grants to teachers in the McFarland School District.

Next year's silent auction will run the same weekend as the McFarland Winter Wonderland in the Village on December 4-5, 2026. See you then!

Bidding ends at 1pm this afternoon, with pickup from 1-3pm at the Craft Fair.
