Weather conditions greatly affect when we open our patch for U-Pick Blueberries. With the warm weather and nice rains we have recently received we will now be opening for the season this Saturday July 16th, starting at 7 AM - 5 PM, or until the ripe berries are gone for the day. The Saturday July 16th picking looks to be good. This Saturday the following varieties will be available: Duke, Reka, some Patriot, a few Northland, and a few BlueJay. Picking is on Saturdays only. July 23rd, July 30th and August 6th look to be very good picking conditions. We ask that you bring an ice cream pail to pick in. If you do not have one, we will provide a container with a food safe bag for you to pick into. The price is $1.60 per pound. When paying for your berries you can bring them into the Retail Shop or you can stop by one of the two white tents. Payment forms accepted are the following: Credit/Debit Cards, Cash, Check, Senior Market or Farmers Market Vouchers. The Retail Shop has many new exciting items this year! We hope to see you soon! We are located just off of I-94, mile marker exit 105 at: W13885 Cain Road, Hixton, WI; ¾ mile East of Hixton off Hwy. 95, turn onto North Branch Rd, ¾ mile onto Cain Rd.

It's been a topsy turvy beginning to 2022.
Like Pete the Cat (our fave reads at the moment), do we cry? Goodness, no. Tops will come and bottoms will go.
We keep on playing, reading, jumping, climbing, drawing, running, writing, singing, dancing, counting, rhyming, swinging...

And we love our new indoor climbing wall. Here's the process:

First field trip in a very long time. We had so much fun.
We got to see one of the Blackhawk running up (prepping for take off). It takes a half hour. Then we watched it taxi and finally take off. Did I say, soo cool. They went into a low hover as an F-16 came in for a landing.
The kids all loved playing pilot.
