You may have seen news about a cybersecurity incident affecting Instructure, the education technology company whose platform our school uses. Here is what we know. Instructure reported a cybersecurity incident in which a criminal threat actor gained unauthorized access to their systems. The situation is actively developing. Out of an abundance of caution, Canvas is temporarily unavailable while we investigate.
Based on what Instructure has shared so far, information that may have been involved includes names, email addresses, student ID numbers, and messages between users. No passwords, birthdates or other federal identifying information, or financial information are believed to be affected.
We are actively engaged with Instructure and will communicate directly with families as we learn more. For ongoing updates from Instructure, visit: https://status.instructure.com/

This week, we’re celebrating our incredible teachers. 💙
At Insights School of Wisconsin, our teachers do so much more than deliver lessons. They show up every day with patience, creativity, and a genuine commitment to helping students succeed, no matter where they’re starting from.
They build relationships, create safe spaces, and never give up on their students. That kind of dedication doesn’t go unnoticed.
To our teachers, thank you for the time, energy, and care you pour into your work. You make a difference every single day, and we are so grateful for you.
