Today was a bus-tastic day in Ms. Emma’s Pre-K class! 🚌💛
Our little learners had the sweetest visit from Mr. Tolene and the Transportation Department, who taught us all about buses and, most importantly, bus safety! The children were excited to explore, ask questions, and learn how to be safe and responsible bus riders.

🎉 The moment you’ve been waiting for, parents! 🎉

We’re excited to announce that our Before & After School Program will begin on Monday, August 24 for grades K-5th!
Applications and program information will be coming home with your child today. For kindergarten, applications will be sent home tomorrow. Please be sure to complete and return the application as soon as possible, as spots are limited! If an application is not completely filled out, it will not be accepted.
You will be notified by Tuesday, August 18 of your child’s enrollment status.

Our Warriors are officially back, and the halls have been filled with smiles, laughter, learning, and lots of excitement! We’ve enjoyed yummy breakfast and lunches, reconnected with friends, and jumped right back into the routines of school.
Our fifth graders started the year off strong by leading the Pledge of Allegiance, and Mrs. Cole and Mrs. Forster visited classrooms to review our Warrior Way expectations and remind us what it means to be respectful, responsible, and safe.
It’s been a wonderful first week, and we’re so excited for all the learning, growing, and fun still to come! Here’s to an AMAZING school year, Warriors! ❤️ 🤍

MES can't say thank you enough to our local Amazon delivery station in McEwen for their generous donations of supplies to McEwen Elementary School. When Amazon reached out in the spring asking for items we could use, we had no idea they'd fill our suggested list and then some! Brian Hawkins, Chris Dubs, and Russell Hendricks unloaded box after box. We appreciate them and Amazon for being such good neighbors to our school!
