What a beautiful moment we shared this morning at OES with special members of our C**T family! We were able to be a part of the sweetest reunion of an amazing father and his two daughters during our 5th grade awards ceremony! Sir, we are grateful for your service, and we are so happy to welcome you home to your sweet family! Welcome home! WE ARE OLA!
Our annual 5th Grade Sneaker Ball was a hit! Our students looked amazing and had a great time. This is such a great group of kids! Driven, kind, hilarious, and talented. It has been so fun to watch them grow and we can’t wait to see all that they will accomplish in this next chapter! Once a C**T always a C**T and we will all be cheering them on! We are looking forward to continuing to celebrate them this week!

Congratulations to Mrs. Ashley Davis, Teacher of the Year, and Mrs. Christina Diamond, Educational Support Person of the Year! Both of these ladies teach and support with their whole hearts every single day at OES! They make OES a better place and we are grateful for their impact! Some of our Boys United Leadership Club celebrated the end of the year with a fishing trip! We are grateful for our mentors and sponsors who pour into the lives of these young men, developing character, leadership, service, and friendships! Here’s to a great year and an even better 26-27!

We enjoyed our last musical performances of the year this morning as the students performed for the entire school! Thank you to those of you who joined us in person Wednesday and Thursday evening! If you weren’t able to join us in person and hear our personal “thank you,” we want to thank all of our Ola families for their contributions to PTO this year and the work of our PTO to raise the funds to purchase the materials for the stage and our brand new sound system! We won’t have to spend thousands of dollars to rent one again! The students enjoyed our new set and sounded great on the system! We appreciate your support in helping us to offer these opportunities for our students to shine!

We are so proud! The Governor's Office of Student Achievement has named OES, (as well as other schools in the Ola Cluster, NHE, RSE, and OHS) a school who is "Beating the Odds!" This means we are outperforming other schools similar to ours across the state! Thank you to our teachers and staff, families, and students, who all work so hard to make OES an amazing place to learn and grow! WE ARE OLA!
