I had the absolute privilege to take 5 young ladies from Girls Group to the 2025 Ladies of Legacy Gala held in Akron, Ohio. We heard empowering words from women leaders and public servants as we celebrated 10 years of Limitless Ambition. Two of our girls even stood up in front of the room and attested to the impact of this incredible program.Thank you to Limitless Ambition for believing in our girls and inviting us to be a part of your celebration 💜 Also, a huge thank you to our administration at McDonald Local Schools who continue to support these girls on their journey to become the next generation of leaders.

We had a beautiful day for the Junior Olympics. I had a great time keeping the kiddos healthy and hydrated!

Happy School Nurses Day!! Part of my job (which I love so much) is advocating for my role as a trained healthcare professional with advanced nursing education. Did you know that a licensed school nurse (LSN) in the State of Ohio is an Independent practitioner not requiring direction by another health professional? To receive LSN licensure in the State of Ohio, we undergo specific education surrounding the practice of nursing in the school setting, which includes:
-Advanced physical assessment
-Advanced mental health assessment
-Development of individual health plans
-Development of emergency action plans
-Coordinated school health program
-Advanced education in emergency preparedness
-School nurse standards and scope of practice
-School law and impact on health care
-Special Education regulation
