Good afternoon, MES parents and guardians,

I hope you all are doing well. This is a reminder that tomorrow is an early release day. Students will be dismissed at 11:30.

Also, due to the extreme heat and the safety of our students and staff, we are postponing the Water Field Day (MAP Celebration), which was planned for Thursday. We will be sending new invitations as soon as we reschedule this special day honoring students who met their MAP goals.

Friday is a teacher in-service day. Students do not attend school on Friday.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to your child's teacher or our front office staff.

Parent and community volunteers are needed. The Rotary E-Club of the Carolinas and Clemson Extension are partnering with MES to support our Outdoor Learning Garden. If you are interested in helping with our school garden, please reach out to us at the school, or sign up right here using this QR code.

Good afternoon, MES Parents and Guardians,
We had some technical difficulties today and were unable to complete our Math MAP testing. We believe all the glitches have been worked out with the technology, and we will be ready to test tomorrow. Students need to get a good night's rest, eat a good breakfast, and get to school on time tomorrow. Have them explain their goals to you and then encourage them to do their best to meet those goals.

The McCormick Chiefs will host American Leadership Academy in a scrimmage at home on Thursday (8/6/26) at 5:30 pm. Admission will be $5.

Have you checked out the School Spirit Store yet? It looks like they have some deals going on this week for Back to School Week. This is a school fundraiser and helps our students and staff. We have seen some students and staff wearing MES shirts from the store. Thank you for supporting us!
