A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Cherry Brown, Chair of the McCormick County Democratic Party, and Mr. Claude Cartledge, Executive Committee Member, for presenting a generous $1,000 donation on behalf of the McCormick County Democratic Party to the McCormick County Education Foundation this morning!

The McCormick County Education Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit established primarily to increase opportunities for students in the McCormick County School District and make every effort to provide quality education to students in the McCormick County area. The Foundation was created to support the educational programs for the McCormick County School District students and staff, in addition to providing other supportive services as these needs are identified.

We are truly grateful for your support of our students, educators, and schools. Your generosity helps us continue investing in education and making a positive difference in the lives of students throughout McCormick County.

Today, the McCormick County School District is engaged in staff development. We are very excited about this training session. Our staff is highly engaged in "The Leader in Me" training, which is rooted in the seven principles of highly effective people. We are having a wonderful day of learning and growing!
