A very dear friend of mine said to me, "I love to see how God is faithful in the little bitty things." And if God cares about the "little things" we can rest assured that He is working on the bigger things, and He sees it all!!!

After a few weeks, where it seems like it has been one thing after another...I am putting my eyes on Jesus and remembering His faithfulness.

We have no water again today. Hopefully it will be turned on soon. 😔 The water came in clear yesterday. Enrique has been working and repairing things that have needed fixing. I think he has made some friends at the hardware store.😅 We had two pipes burst in the house and he was able to get those fixed. There is still more work to be done.

Because we live day to day and are on a tight budget, we don't want any repairs and problems here at the house to affect what we can do in our support for others.(especially the children) We are asking the Lord for wisdom and to show us what to do. There are many repairs and much work is needed here on the farm.
We don't have enough money to pay school fees that are due today and tomorrow. I am asking the Lord to make a way!!

We want to thank our dear friends that have given over the last week...and it is hard to express just how much it means to us!!!

After we adopted five of our children, we continued walking with their three younger siblings. They have faced many challenges but God has been faithful to see them through! We are so proud of the decisions that Jose has made this year. ❤️🙌
He has been attending a small country church and they have encouraged and loved on him. They even put him in charge of the sound system and he is singing in the choir. He saved up enough money from his work on different farms, to get a guitar, which he is able to use at church.
If you only knew his story...it just amazes me!! And shows the great love and mercy of the Lord!! The Lord answers prayers!! Even when we cannot see..He is working!! ❤️🙌🙌

Jose is just one of the kids we walk with. We want to help him continue studying. And continue paying for his bus fare to get to church and choir practice.

Yesterday we had two dear friends that made a donation to help. We are so grateful!! As you know, we have had many extra expenses the last few weeks and problems with our water at home.
We still need about $375 to cover needs with the kids we are supporting. We need to make some payments before the 22 of August.

For years we have helped kids to be able to study and get an education. Kids that have lived with us and are part of our family and kids in the community. (remember Jose studying at barbar school) You have been a big part of that! Some are studying a trade or are able to finish high school. This changes their lives!! And gives them hope for the future.
We have some payments coming up by the 22 of August. We have had many extra expenses this month with water problems and repairs at our home...as you may have read in my other post. We want to be able to continue helping these kids. We are praying the Lord will make a way and provide all our needs.

I am so grateful to the Lord that we were at home when water came pouring out of a pipe in our bathroom today. I heard the water and we were able to get the water turned off before it damaged the floor in our bedroom. Although it was a lot of work to get it cleaned up, it could have been so much worse.
We had something similar happen a few days ago and it flooded our laundry room and kitchen. We believe it is because of the work they are doing on our street, putting in new water pipes. The good news is we got our washing machine up and running again.😅
We have ministry expenses coming up for children and families we walk with.
Someone sent us money for gas the other day and it was such a blessing!! We want to say how grateful we are!! Gas prices are around $6.40 a gallon here now. Because the dollar is not worth what it used to be, we get less colones for each dollar, this too has made a big difference in what we can continue to do.
We are praying and believing that the Lord will make a way in every situation!! I am not panicking, I am going to trust the one who has it all!!!

This last week they have been changing out all the water pipes on our street. We have been without water during the day and when it is turned back on, it is a brownish color.😳 This has made things hard. I told one of my kids, I am not sure if we are cleaner before we get in the shower or after. 🤪 hehe
Anyway, we would appreciate your prayers!
Our washing machine has stopped working too, washing with dirty water isn't a good idea. 😭

Today is mother's day and we have had to postpone our mother's day gathering. It is something we do every year but we hope to have it next week-end.
If you would like to help get a food box for one of the dear mothers we walk with, it would be so appreciated!
Mom's need things like rice and beans, coffee and milk, toilet paper, deodorant, diapers are always needed. These things are such a blessing!!
Please pray for the Lord's provision in every situation. (And that water will come in clean soon, that our washing machine can be fixed quickly) I can't tell you how much your love and support mean to us and so many!

Helping a child or young person study a trade or get their degree...changes lives!!
If you would like to help a young person continue their education or a child receive extra and much needed help...we would be so grateful! God brought to us a wonderful lady, who has become our friend to help too. She has been tutoring and helping one of our kids to finish high school. We are so blessed by her love and support.

I want to share with you a quick testimony of God's faithfulness! ❤️😊

A few days ago, a dear friend (and sister) called me and said, “Could you help me pay for my son’s bus fare? He needs six dollars a week to get to church and choir practice.”

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I was so surprised.

“He wants to go to church?” I thought. “He’s singing in the church choir?!”

You see, we’ve known this young man since he was a tiny baby—in fact, right out of the hospital. It would take far too long to tell you all he has been through, but for many years he battled depression and fear. His life took many twists and turns.

Going to school wasn’t really an option for him because of difficulites at home and his emotional struggles often kept him from moving forward.

Enrique and I have walked with him and his siblings for years. We have faced hard things...and many challenges. We know the Lord put us together and they have become part of our family.
We wondered many times what to do....how to help... but we continued to pray.

Then came that phone call.

“He needs six dollars a week to get to church and choir practice.”

Hearing those words filled my heart with so much joy!!

He is so excited about going to church and singing in the choir! Yesterday his mom sent me pictures of him riding on the bus on his way to church. What a happy picture!

God brings peace and joy. He takes away depression and fear.❤️🙌

We may not always see what God is doing...it may take months...even years but He hears our prayers and He is faithful to answer!!
❤️🙌

Hi Friends,

We have some little ones and big ones that are sick with bad colds. We sure could use your prayers. We have had to spend a good bit the last few weeks,on medicine, for family and friends that we walk with. Today we will be back at the pharmacy again.

I may be traveling before too long to meet with donors and supporters and my hope is to see family and friends. I believe this will be an encouraging and much needed time. Please pray I will stay healthy and that every need will be met here and for my trip. It is very hard to get away and hard for me to leave....but I am trusting God will make a way in every situation!!

I can't tell you how much your love and support mean to us!! We are so grateful to the Lord!!❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
