EHS 9th Grade Orientation is scheduled for 4/30/19 from 6:00-7:30 PM

We are excited to welcome the current 8th graders and their parents to Etna High School for 9th Grade Orientation next Tuesday!

We have decided to host 9th Grade Orientation in the spring this year to give parents and students an introduction to high school requirements and opportunities before the first week of school so that they have time to prepare over the summer and start next fall knowing what is expected of them. We will also kick off the event with representatives from all of our clubs and fall sports to promote their program, answer questions, and sign students up to join!

9th Grade Orientation Schedule:

6:00-6:30 Club tabling in front of Gym
6:30 Orientation welcome and introductions in the Cafeteria
6:40 Students will break off for a school tour, high school trivia, and fight song instruction. During this time, parents will remain in the cafeteria for a presentation on graduation requirements, program highlights, and student expectations.
7:20 Students are brought back to the cafeteria.
7:30 Event ends.

This will be the one opportunity 8th graders have to come tour the high school campus and learn about all the opportunities and resources that will be available next year. Please make your greatest effort to attend!

Our Ag CAD class is working on a cool inlay project! I popped in to see the students in action and was extra excited after I saw that they were kindly making me a sign for my office! My sign was the assignment example and the students are all in the process of developing their own designs. It is always impressive to see our students navigate such advanced computer software and machinery!
