State Track 2026 Recap! 🧡🖤

Not the ending we had hoped for but we are incredibly proud of the growth these girls made this season!

Josslyn finished 14th in discus
Alyson finished 18th in discus
Davina finished 18th in the 400m

It has been 12 years since a girls relay team has made it to state. Our girls 4x400 relay team came into state seeded 12th and finished 12th with a nice PR and a time of 4:15! They also broke the electronic school record by five seconds! What an accomplishment!

A special ending for our seniors, Davina, Josslyn, and Alyson. We thank you for your contributions to this program! We are proud of you!

An extra special moment for Davina, who anchored the 4x4 with the fastest 400 split of her career, finishing her high school track career on a positive note!

We are so proud of our state qualifiers and we look forward to what is next!

We’re kicking things off with our throwers as Alyson Pounds and Josslyn Marx take the ring in discus at 1:30! Then tonight under the lights, Davina Valenzuela takes on the 400 meter dash at 6:00! 💨

The kids on the track had a BIG weekend at Tri Peaks League meet in Rye!🔥

Our relay teams showed out!
•Boys 4x100 - Placed 4th
•Girls 4x100 - PR and placed 4th
🥉Girls 4x200 - Two second PR (Top 18 in 3A)
🥇Girls 4x400 - Nine second PR (Top 18 in 3A)

Tiger Track is BACK 🔥🐅

We kick things off Thursday evening with a JV throwers meet against Lamar starting at 4:30 — come out and support our young athletes as they get after it!

Then Friday at 9 AM… it’s time for the LEGENDARY Tiger Relays. Big competition, big energy, and a whole lot of Tiger pride.

Let’s pack the stands and bring the noise. It’s a great week to be a Tiger 💪🐅
