Fellow Fields Autism ABA Therapy Center was proud to host and organize a special Assent in ABA professional training featuring Dr. Ben Seifert, PhD, BCBA, LBA, Principal and Founder of Collaborate ABA.

We were grateful to welcome our friends from BehaviorAll ABA Therapy and Behavior and Speech Institute of Texas (BSI) as we came together with one shared purpose: to learn, collaborate, and continue improving the quality of ABA services in our RGV community.

A special thank you to Dr. Seifert for sharing his expertise, practical strategies, and real-world insights on assent and for helping us continue growing as ABA professionals. 🌿

During our Community Helpers Theme Week, we were excited to welcome RN Emma, Officer Salinas, K-9 Officer Garcia, and K-9 Tarra to Fellow Fields! 🌱💚

Our clients had the opportunity to participate in special presentations where they learned about health, safety, law enforcement, K-9 service, and the important roles community helpers play in our everyday lives.

Thank you to our wonderful visitors for providing our clients with a meaningful, engaging, and hands-on learning experience! 💚🐾

💦 Water Day at Fellow Fields! ☀️🌈

Splashing, climbing, crawling, balancing, laughing—and learning every step of the way! 💚

At Fellow Fields Autism ABA Therapy Center, Water Day is more than just fun. Every activity is designed to build meaningful developmental skills through play.

🌊 During today’s activities, our learners practiced:

* 💪 Gross motor strength
* 🤸 Balance and coordination
* 🧠 Motor planning
* 👀 Visual attention
* ✋ Bilateral coordination
* ⏳ Waiting and turn-taking
* 🗣️ Functional communication
* 😊 Social engagement with peers
* 🌟 Flexibility and trying new experiences

Using ABA principles, our therapists incorporate individualized prompting, motivation, reinforcement, and natural opportunities for learning while children enjoy an exciting summer activity.

🌱 La independencia se enseña, un paso a la vez.

En Fellow Fields Autism ABA Therapy Center, transformamos las rutinas diarias en oportunidades de aprendizaje.

Una habilidad que trabajamos es que nuestros niños lleven de manera independiente sus materiales desde su casillero hasta su mesa de trabajo. Aunque parezca una tarea sencilla, desarrolla habilidades fundamentales que utilizarán en la escuela y en su vida diaria.

💚 ¿Cómo lo enseñamos?

⭐ Motivación: Hacemos que la actividad sea significativa y divertida para que el niño quiera participar.

🖐️ Apoyos (Prompting): Brindamos únicamente la ayuda necesaria para que tenga éxito y, poco a poco, retiramos esos apoyos.

🎉 Reforzamiento: Celebramos y reforzamos cada intento y cada logro independiente, aumentando la probabilidad de que la habilidad ocurra de manera natural en el futuro.

Con el tiempo, los apoyos desaparecen y la independencia permanece.

Porque nuestro objetivo no es solo que un niño lleve un cuaderno. Nuestro objetivo es desarrollar habilidades que se generalicen a la escuela, al hogar y a la comunidad, fomentando responsabilidad, confianza y autonomía para toda la vida.
