TOASTMASTERS TO SPONSOR PUBLIC SPEAKING COURSE IN PHARR

A Speechcraft public speaking course will be offered on four consecutive Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM beginning February 1 at the Pharr Memorial Library (121 E Cherokee Ave., 2nd Floor). The Speechcraft is sponsored by Hub City and Allen McAllen Toastmasters Clubs. In these four 2-hour sessions, participants will learn and practice public speaking techniques, introducing a speaker, presenting a prepared speech, responding to an impromptu topic, and receiving and giving feedback. We encourage anyone with a fear of public speaking or wanting to improve your skills to attend this educational course. Participants will have fun while they learn. The fee is $20.00.
