South Texas College’s Commercial Truck License Institute is set to start its new 18-hour training program that includes a combination Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA 10) course and Hazmat training beginning July 1.

The classes, brought to students through STC Continuing Professional and Workforce Development, will be offered throughout July and August with OSHA 10 instruction held in the morning and Hazmat training scheduled in the afternoons.

From doubt to diploma: STC graduate finds hope through JagReconnect What once felt impossible has now become a life-changing achievement for Maribel Cantu, 55, who earned her Associate of Arts in Social Work from STC thanks to the JagReconnect program.

South Texas College Continuing Education and Workforce Development has begun holding free CPR, first aid and Basic Life Support courses, which will take place throughout the summer. 🐆 🚑 ❤️

Registration is now open to anyone in the community including health care professionals, police officers and students who are seeking training to help save lives.

South Texas College Architecture students recently had an incredible architectural immersion experience in Peru. 🇵🇪

Over the course of two weeks, STC students explored the historic center of Lima, visited the ancient site of Pachacamac, collaborated with architecture students and faculty at Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas (UPC) and studied the rich architectural heritage of Cusco.

The trip also included visits to Sacsayhuamán, the Sacred Valley and the unforgettable experience of exploring Machu Picchu while gaining a deeper understanding of architecture, history and place while representing South Texas College abroad.
