The Book to Film series will present "The Birth of the Vampire from Literature to Cinema" presented by Silvia Herrera and Liana Andreasen. The event will take place on Monday, October 28th from 3-4 PM at the Pecan Campus in the Building D Auditorium.

Dr. David Oakes' next presentation in the Books To Movies 2 Lecture Series will take a look at new adaptations of the classic monster stories of Frankenstein and Dracula. Movies like Last Voyage of the Demeter, Lisa Frankenstein, Renfield, The Angry Black Girl and Her Monster, and others will be discussed.
