📚✨ Roadrunners Are Learning So Our Students Can Soar! 💚💛

Our Seguin Roadrunner teachers are hard at work participating in McAllen ISD’s Beginning of the Year Professional Development, preparing for an incredible year of teaching and learning!

Throughout the week, our educators have engaged in meaningful learning focused on our new Math adoption, RLA curriculum, Science instruction, PE, Music, PK and new ELPS training. These sessions are equipping our teachers with innovative strategies, high-quality instructional resources, and research-based practices to ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed.

At Seguin Elementary, we believe that great schools are built by educators who never stop learning. We are proud of our teachers for investing their time, energy, and passion into growing professionally so they can provide the very best learning experiences for our Roadrunners.

The excitement is building, and we can’t wait to welcome our students back for another spectacular year of learning!

Today we proudly welcomed back our incredible Seguin Roadrunner faculty and staff as we kicked off another spectacular school year! 💚💛

Our day began by celebrating together as a team and welcoming the newest members of our Roadrunner family and enjoying a delicious waffle breakfast! 🧇
In the afternoon, we joined colleagues from across McAllen ISD at the Annual General Assembly at the McAllen Convention Center, where we enjoyed amazing student performances, inspiring messages from community leaders, and a motivating keynote that reminded us why we do what we do.

A special congratulations to our outstanding Teacher of the Year Ms. Moreno! 🍎✨ Your dedication, passion, and commitment to our students make Seguin an extraordinary place to learn and grow.🎉👏
