Our very own Liz Ramos is proof that big dreams start right in the studio. Liz grew up dancing with us, became a student-teacher by her sophomore year of high school, and later headed to NYC on a full scholarship to The Joffrey Academy.

Since then, she has built an absolute powerhouse career in the entertainment industry:

🔹 Danced with icons like Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, and Will Smith.
🔹 Choreographed for Dancing with the Stars, Disney’s Jessie, and Netflix’s The Noel Diary.
🔹 Coaches Hollywood actors and Olympic skaters as an elite movement specialist.

Did you know that Broadway performer, television star, and voiceover actor Gabrielle Ruiz (pictured in the center-right holding her top hat high!) started her journey right here at Melba’s Dance School?

Gabrielle studied dance at Melba's Dance School from 1987 through 2003. That exact foundation of dedication, razor-sharp technique, and pure passion propelled her to an unbelievable career:
