The South Texas College Valley Scholars Program recruits high school students who graduate from an accredited Hidalgo or Starr County high school within the top 10% or 90 percentile of their class. The program offers support services in scholarships, advisement, registration, campus employment, and participation in the STC Honors Program and Phi Theta Kappa International Honors Society.
