Preamble



In recognition of the need for an organization for those primarily interested in the HVAC/R field, we the students of South Texas College do create this constitution for the governing of our affairs. Article I – Identification

This organization shall be known as: The HVAC/R Student Association. Article II – Purpose

Section 1. Bring about closer relationships and foster a sense of camaraderie among those students who have an interest in the
field of HVAC/R at South Texas College. Section 2. Establish contacts and network with those air conditioning technicians already successful in the HVAC/R field. Section 3. Broaden the students understanding and applications of the practice in the HVAC/R field. Section 4. To provide a forum to students for suggestions, comments and recommendation pertaining to this curriculum and the

program. Section 5. To allow a pipeline of information and feedback to flow freely between students and instructors.
