Our McAuliffe staff boldly went where great educators always go—McAllen ISD's annual TECHnovate Technology & Learning Conference!

With this year's retro TV theme, our team proudly embraced our inner Trekkies as we explored innovative ideas, discovered new technology tools, and collaborated with fellow educators from across the district. Every session helped us gain new strategies to make learning even more engaging and meaningful for our students.

As we prepare for an exciting new school year, we're bringing home fresh ideas, renewed inspiration, and a commitment to helping every Challenger reach new heights.

What an incredible way to kick off the new school year! Our Beginning-of-the-Year Bash was filled with energy, excitement, and inspiration as we embraced this year’s theme of “Boots on the Ground: Transformation for All.”

From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere was one of celebration, innovation, and possibility. The event reminded us that transformation begins with people who are passionate about making a difference for students every single day.

A special thank you to McAllen ISD for creating such a fun, motivating, and memorable experience. Showcasing the incredible talents of individuals from within our own district highlighted the creativity, dedication, and heart that make our community so extraordinary. We are fortunate to be surrounded by so much talent and so many people committed to excellence.

And a huge congratulations to Thalia Gonzalez, our Teacher of the Year! Your dedication to students, passion for education, and commitment to excellence inspire us all. We are so proud of your well-deserved recognition and can’t wait to see the amazing impact you’ll continue to make.

What an incredible first day back! Our Challenger Team kicked off the year with meaningful professional learning, team-building activities, and plenty of excitement as we reunited for a new mission.

Today, we celebrated the tremendous academic gains our students made last year. Those accomplishments reflect the dedication, passion, and unwavering commitment of every member of our team. We are so proud of how far we’ve come—and even more excited about where we’re headed.

The enthusiasm, collaboration, and positive energy throughout the day reminded us why McAuliffe is such a special place. Together, we’re ready to continue building on our success, challenging ourselves to grow, and creating extraordinary opportunities for every student.
