This morning, Dr. Garza and members of our administrative team had the opportunity to present our Campus Action Plan to McAllen ISD Superintendent Dr. René Gutiérrez and members of the district administrative team. ⭐️

We engaged in meaningful conversations about our campus goals, student achievement, and how we can continue working together to best meet the needs of every Hendricks STAR. We’re excited about the work ahead and committed to continued growth! ❤️💙

Our students had a great time at their first Chess Club meeting today! Chess is more than just a game—it helps students strengthen critical thinking, problem-solving, concentration, strategy, and decision-making skills while having fun. 🧠♟️

We’re excited to watch our young chess players learn, grow, and challenge themselves this year! ⭐️

In observance of 16 de Septiembre, Neighborhood Walmart on Dove & 23rd hosted a special community celebration, and our Hendricks Cheerleaders were invited to participate! ❤️🤍💚 Our girls did an amazing job representing Hendricks while celebrating Mexican culture, heritage, and community.

A huge thank you to Walmart for including our STARS and for generously donating supplies to our campus! We are so grateful for your support! ⭐️💙❤️

Our Hendricks STARS filled the halls with beautiful colors today in celebration of 16 de Septiembre! 🇲🇽 We loved seeing all of the colorful outfits and traditional attire as our students and staff celebrated Mexican culture and heritage. ¡Qué bonito! 🌸💃🏽
