Today, our Hendricks Elementary staff officially kicked off the 2026–2027 school year! We spent the morning back on campus collaborating, planning, and preparing to give our students the very best learning experience possible.

We wrapped up the day at the McAllen Convention Center, joining colleagues from across McAllen ISD as we celebrated the start of a brand-new school year and the incredible work ahead.

Our boots are on the ground, our hearts are all in, and we’re ready to make this school year the best one yet. We can’t wait to welcome our Stars back!
