Hidalgo County Head Start Program

The Hidalgo County Head Start Program's Early Head Start staff recently participated in comprehensive professional development training focused on strengthening the quality of services provided to infants, toddlers, and their families.
Throughout the training, staff enhanced their knowledge of Teacher-Child Interactions, Child Growth and Development, curriculum implementation, and evaluation practices. Team members also reviewed essential safety protocols and daily routines designed to create nurturing, safe, and responsive learning environments for our youngest learners.

"Exciting things are happening at Hidalgo County Head Start! Our new Chavez and Arnold campuses had a wonderful time meeting families at the PSJA Expo and sharing information about the opportunities available through Head Start.

As we begin this new school year, we’re excited to welcome new children and families into our program and continue building strong foundations for lifelong learning. Enrollment is still open, so if you have a child who may qualify, we’d love to connect with you!
