Palacios Head Start staff enjoyed a well-deserved lunch together as they took a moment to relax, connect, and celebrate their teamwork before heading into summer break.

Students at Edinburg Head Start Academy took Center Stage as they showcased their singing talents during their awards ceremony in their Classroom.

Just a look into the lives of the Head Start children the Joy, the happiness, of both staff, parents and grandparents that were able to join us on the beautiful day. Great things are happening at Edinburg North!

On Friday, May 29, the Hidalgo County Head Start Program’s Human Resources Department hosted its annual Staff Awards Luncheon to recognize employees for their years of service, ranging from five to 35 years, and to honor staff members entering retirement.
This year’s retirees included Amelia R. Perez of Chapa Head Start with 31 years of service, Elisa A. Rivera of Mercedes Early Learning Head Start with 24 years, and Hotensia Gonzalez of the Donna Kitchen with 11 years.
Staff, Commissioners, and Policy Council members joined in the celebration, which featured a festive Mardi Gras theme with colorful masks, feathers, and lively jazz music, creating a vibrant and memorable atmosphere for all in attendance.
