More graduation pictures!

History was made Friday night.
What began as a vision, a prayer, and a step of faith became reality as we celebrated the first graduating class of the Janet Vackar Distinguished Leadership High School.
These graduates are more than students. They are pioneers. They walked a path that had never been walked before. There was no class ahead of them to follow.
They are the blueprint.
Years from now, countless students will walk across this stage because these young men and women went first.
My heart is full of gratitude to God, our faculty and staff, our families, our Board of Directors, and to Bob and Janet Vackar, and Natasha Tobola del Barrio for believing in a vision that will impact generations.
Congratulations, Class of 2026. Once a Lion, always a Lion. 🦁

Senior Walk 2026!

Senior Walk 2026!!!

Today was such a beautiful reminder of legacy, growth, and family. It was a blessing to celebrate our current graduating seniors alongside those who once walked these same halls as Covenant students years ago.

To see them return to their alma mater, walking the same hallways their little footsteps once filled as children, was deeply moving. For a moment, time stood still, and generations of Lions were together again on one campus.

What a blessing it was to welcome them home. Once a Lion, always a Lion. 🦁

One of the scariest things a parent can experience is not the rebellion of a child… but when that child becomes comfortable in the rebellion.

That’s a dangerous place to be.

Because children don’t just listen to what we say about Christ. They watch how we live Him. Hypocrisy hardens hearts. A gospel we preach but don’t practice can slowly push them away from the very God we want them to know.

Maybe the question is not just, “Why is my child rebelling?”
Maybe the deeper question is, “What version of Christianity have they been witnessing in me?”

Our children don’t need perfect parents. They need real ones. Repentant ones. Consistent ones. Parents who don’t just talk about Jesus on Sundays, but reflect Him at home.

“Train up a child in the way he should go…” starts with us walking in that way first.
