What an incredible kickoff to our World Cup Watch Party! ⚽🔥

Thank you to everyone who packed the Student Engagement Hub with pure passion, team spirit, and nonstop energy. From the opening whistle to the final goal, the room was electric.

Students enjoyed free popcorn, pizza, and the fan‑favorite Soccer Bowl, making every cheer even louder and every moment even better. It was the perfect mix of excitement, community, and fútbol fever.

Starr County celebrated National Chamoy Day with a day full of fun, creativity, and delicious treats!

Students enjoyed showing off their artistic talents during a festive coloring activity and had a blast playing fun board games with their friends. The excitement didn't stop there, everyone cooled off with tasty mangonadas topped with sweet, tangy, and spicy chamoy!

From colorful creations to friendly competition and flavorful treats, it was a great day filled with smiles, laughter, and unforgettable memories. Thank you to everyone who helped make National Chamoy Day such a special celebration!

🔥 The Jaguar Games brought the HEAT today! 🔥

We had an awesome time welcoming Weslaco High School students to the Mid‑Valley Campus for another Summer Bridge edition of the Jaguar Games.

Before the games kicked off, students explored everything Student Activities & Wellness has to offer: student organizations, leadership opportunities, wellness programs, campus events, and all the ways to get involved and stay connected as future Jaguars.

Then it was GAME TIME and they went all in.
From teamwork and strategy to quick thinking and full‑on Jaguar spirit, Weslaco High students battled it out for the ultimate prize: an STC Jaguar T‑shirt and bragging rights as today’s champions.

💛 Amazing job, Weslaco High, you showed up, showed out, and brought the Jaguar spirit to life.
We can’t wait to see you back on campus soon.
