What better way to learn about where milk comes from than to set up a milking dramatic play station. Pretend play is an important part of child development and it's a good way to have some fun! 🐄🥛
For our farm themed activities we learned where milk came from and how some farmers get the milk! Milk does a body good! 🐄🥛😋
Aloha Week!
Students joined at the end of a fun Hawaii learning week for a fun Hawaiian Party! Complete with music, dancing and lots of tropical fruit!
***** A BIG thanks to all our parents for helping us with all the pre-cut fruits. It's a tremendous help! We appreciate each and every one of y'all! 🙏.
Fun Fact: Hawaii's state fruit is the PINEAPPLE 🍍!
Outside Muddy Field Day in July!
It's been a rainy ☔️💧month so we took advantage of the muddy puddles! Muddy play is a lesson in how to be carefree, adventurous, spontaneous, and live in the moment. Messy play provides children with an exciting tactile and sensory experience that inspires their curiosity, allows them to explore the world around them and enhances their learning.
**** Playing in mud can make you healthier too. Science shows that today’s sanitized world is actually contributing to increased levels of childhood allergies and asthma. Exposure to dirt and germs works to prime a child’s immune system to prevent allergies. Yes, it’s actually healthy for children to get muddy!

Bake-A-Palooza!
Baking🧑🍳 with kids is not just about making delicious treats; it’s about creating lifelong memories and valuable learning experiences. 👨🍳🍰🎂🧁🍩🍪
From enhancing motor skills to fostering creativity, baking provides numerous benefits for children’s development. 👩🍳
Kids just love unique experiences like roasting marshmallows while sitting around the fire. The relaxed atmosphere of camping encourages kids to explore their surroundings and get to know their peers, all while playing in a safe environment. ⛺️
A family camping trip with a focus on astronomy for kids not only offers a great escape into nature but also turns the universe into your classroom.🤩
One of the benefits of camping for youth is that it allows them to learn independence in a safe and controlled environment. Children become more confident as they learn new things and have first-time experiences.
Camping is beneficial for children and their families because it can help strengthen bonds between family members and friends.
While this "Worms in Dirt" edible craft may seem like just a fun way for kids to play with their food, it’s actually a great way to teach them about earthworms!
Did you know?
Earthworms eat soil! Their nutrition comes from things in soil, such as decaying roots and leaves. Animal manures are an important food source for earthworms. They eat living organisms such as nematodes, protozoans, rotifers, bacteria, fungi in soil.

The Ladybug 🐞
Ladybugs mature quickly, going from larvae to adults in about a week. Under ideal conditions, they can live for up to two to three years.
Ladybugs are beetles, not bugs, and they don't have lungs. They chew from side to side, and they can smell with their feet and antennae. Ladybug larvae look like tiny alligators, with long, pointed abdomens, spiny bodies, and legs that stick out from their sides. Adult ladybugs have folded wings that are protected by their spotted shell, called the elytra. 🐞❤️
Nature Watch.
Teaching Kids Responsibility.
Living things die if mistreated or not taken care of properly, and entrusting a child to take care of the living parts of their environment means they’ll learn what happens when they forget to water a plant, or pull a flower out by its roots.
Our Little Picassos! 🥰

At our center, lesson plans are a vital tool used each day to make sure all students get the most out of their education. 😊 🤓🤩
Working with dot markers and water colors can help toddlers develop many skills, including:
fine motor skills and hand eye coordination. The small, precise movements of the hands and fingers helps strengthen these muscles. Grabbing the markers or brush and choosing where to place them helps with eye coordination. 😊
H is for HAPPY! Did you know that the color YELLOW is linked to HAPPINESS! Yellow is a primary flower color and can represent friendship, joy, and happiness 😊.

Growing vegetables is a wonderful lesson in crop production and shows preschoolers how nutritious foods get to the table. It's also important to remember and teach children that soil is essential for life. 🐛 🍎🫛🫘🥕
