Sharing a community backpack giveaway happening in McAllen on Thursday, July 30.

Free backpacks filled with school supplies, plus food and fun for the whole family. Backpacks will be distributed while supplies last!

🚌 Bus Riders: Be Ready for the First Day of School!

If your child will be riding a McAllen ISD bus, scan the QR code to find bus routes, track your student’s bus, review the seatbelt policy, and complete the required annual transportation form.

💉 Back-to-School Immunization Clinics Available! 📚

As we prepare for an amazing school year, now is the perfect time to make sure your child’s immunizations are up to date. McAllen ISD Health Services, in partnership with Hidalgo County Health and Human Services, is hosting several vaccination clinics to help families get ready for the first day of school.

Upcoming Clinic Dates:
📅 July 30 | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Crockett Administration Building
📅 August 4 | 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM | Crockett Administration Building
📅 August 6 | 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Crockett Administration Building

✅ Private Insurance, CHIP, and Medicaid accepted with a $0 copay.
💲 Uninsured: 18 & under – $10 | 19 & older – $20
