Today our students rolled up their sleeves and got hands-on in an engaging muscle lab focused on the intricate muscles of the hand! They explored both the thenar and hypothenar muscle groups, gaining a deeper understanding of their functions and the essential nerve supply that keeps everything moving. It was a great opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real-world anatomy in a collaborative and interactive setting.

Our Level I OTA students had an exciting and hands-on day of learning as they explored various intervention techniques to support future clients in their rehabilitation journeys. One of the highlights was learning about kinesiotaping, a therapeutic method used to facilitate or inhibit muscle movement, enhance function, and promote healing. Through this interactive session, students not only gained valuable clinical knowledge but also developed confidence in applying practical skills that they will carry into their future careers as occupational therapy assistants.
We are proud to see our students so engaged and committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care.
