As our Level I OTA students come to the end of their first year, they had the opportunity to collaborate with campers from CAMP University through the development and implementation of an in-service project focused on meaningful performance skills. Topics included gardening, money management, sensory and social-emotional regulation, and leisure participation.
Through this experience, students learned the importance of completing a needs assessment, conducting a mini activity analysis, and bringing their ideas to life through hands-on implementation. Experiences like these continue to strengthen clinical reasoning, creativity, and community engagement within occupational therapy education.
We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with CAMP University and for the continued growth and support within our community. We look forward to the Fall semester as we begin preparing students for their upcoming Level I Fieldwork experiences!

Happy Tuesday! 📸
Today our Level 1 OTA students stepped into Professional Headshot Day as part of their management course. This experience goes beyond just taking a picture—it’s about embracing professionalism, confidence, and personal growth.
Students are currently exploring professional development plans and gaining a deeper understanding of the various roles within the Occupational Therapy profession. From clinicians to educators, advocates to leaders, they are beginning to see the many paths they can take in their future careers.
Moments like these help them build their professional identity and prepare for the next step in their journey.
