The McAllen ISD Apprenticeship Program wrapped up the last class
for the semester. They are one step closer to reaching their dreams of becoming a teacher with our amazing district! 🏆Thank you Sal Flores, Edwell Success Coach, for inspiring, motivating, and teaching our future teachers to be the best for our students and community!🎊🎉👏🏆

McAllen ISD proudly celebrates 20 UTRGV Teacher Residents who attended their 2026 graduation ceremony and their academic year with McAllen ISD at Dr. Pablo Perez Elementary, Francisca Alvarez Elementary, Lucile McKee Hendricks Elementary, and Thigpen-Zavala Elementary!🎓🍎

Throughout the year, these future educators made a lasting impact in our classrooms while building meaningful connections with students and staff. One of the sweetest moments of the celebration was seeing the heartfelt messages written by elementary students on their graduation stoles. 💙✨

We are proud of their accomplishments and excited for the bright future ahead as they continue their journey in education. Congratulations, residents and thank you for being “All In” for our McAllen ISD students! 🍎🎉🙌
