McAllen ISD educator wins award for devotion to district’s at-risk students Erick Morin, an English teacher at McAllen ISD’s Instruction and Guidance Center, won the Region One Secondary teacher of the year award through his passion and dedication for helping the district’s at-risk students.

Congratulations to one of our McAllen ISD TCTA members Eric Morin from I & G Campus.
He just won the Region One Secondary Teacher of the Year.
He will represent Region One at the state level.

The 2023-2024 VATRE Compensation Increase was approved during the December 11, 2023 Board Meeting. Thank you McAllen ISD Board of Trustees!

McAllen ISD has just approved additional salary increase
plus longevity stipend amount. The salary increase is going to be retroactive. The 2nd longevity stipend will be on the January paycheck along with the salary increase from Sept to Dec.
The 1st longevity stipend will be on a separate check on 12/22/23.
