ASQ 1425 is the local section of the American Society for Quality. ASQ 1425 is one of 251 sections of the American Society for Quality.
It is made up of members who are interested in quality. Quality is not just for the "quality department." Those new to quality, engineers, managers, other professionals, and students are all part of an ASQ section.

For me, Sylvia G. Soria, I have two philosophies -
Quality is like Karate. It is a way of life.
Quality is like Love. You can't explain it but you know when you have it and you know when you don't.

- Update in the Section Financial Report (2015) submission. Time: 5 min.
- Planning for 2016 year events (Plant tours, monthly meetings, meeting place(s), etc.). Time: 15 min.
- Discuss the relevant topics for 1425 section members / Speakers. Time 15 min.
- Discuss an ASQ activity (Bowling, Golf, other) for this summer (2016). Time 10 Min.
- Tips an guidelines for upcoming ASQ certification exams. Time: 15 min.
- It will be a Raffle to those who are present. Drinks / refreshments will be available.

ASQ 1425 - Rio Grande is proud to announce it's 7th ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP COMPETITION
If you are an incoming college freshman or an undergraduate, this competition is for you.
How do you compete?
1 - Select one of 3 essay topics listed on Scholarship Competition form (In Box for the Form)
2 - Write a 1000 word essay on your topic of choice
3 - Fill out Scholarship Competition form
4 - Submit form by deadline - MAY 3
