For the second consecutive year, Marcel was selected to participate in Polaris Productions' Youth Theatre Program in New York City. This summer, he took the stage as the beloved Donkey in Shrek Jr., spending the entire month of July rehearsing before performing four public shows.

Marcel's dedication, talent, and passion for the performing arts continue to make the Cathey family proud. We can't wait to welcome him back as he shares his experience with our theatre department and takes the stage once again during his final year as a Cathey Cobra.

This weekend, our Cathey Cobras proudly represented Cobra Nation at the TAAF Track & Field State Competition, competing with heart, determination, and courage against some of the best athletes in Texas. Every stride, jump, throw, and finish reflected what it means to be a Cobra—focused, fearless, and finishing strong.
