While our students are enjoying summer break, we're busy making a few exciting updates around JCS! We can't wait for everyone to see the new flooring in the chapel area, new entrance doors for added security, and a new cross at the front of the building.

What a beautiful reminder of the focus of everything we do: Jesus Christ.

A 2026 JCS graduate, Troy Hoover, son of Jeff & Faye Hoover, also graduated from the Mifflin County Academy of Science & Technology in May 2026 with a degree in Electrical Installation. He received the Outstanding Senior of the Year Award for Electrical Installation. He has accepted a position with Dunamis Power and Light. Congratulations, Troy!

Mrs. Bennett hosted a 📚Reading Sprint📚 for her students in grades 7 & 8. From September 2025 to May 2026, students were given time at the beginning of class to enjoy reading a book of their choice. They could also add any additional reading they completed on their own. Students faithfully tracked their own progress and committed to growing as readers!

Grade 7 read a total of 97,729 pages! 🎉
Grade 8 read a total of 102, 202 pages! 🎉

As a reward for all their hard work, they celebrated with a trip to Little Buffalo State Park.
