McAlester Public Schools is excited to announce that McAlester High School has been selected as a $5K Friday Sweepstakes winner in T-Mobile’s Friday Night 5G Lights program, earning $5,000 for the school and advancing McAlester in the nationwide competition for even greater prizes and opportunities.
The recognition puts McAlester High School in the running for the next stages of the Friday Night 5G Lights competition, which celebrates high schools and communities across the country while providing significant investments in student programs, athletics, facilities, and school spirit. As the competition continues, 40 Division Finalists will each receive $25,000 and a hometown celebration. From those finalists, four Division Champions will each earn $250,000, a Gronk Fitness weight room upgrade, and a $5,000 Student Spotlight Award.
