McAdenville Elementary students and staff really showed out last year on the End of Grade Tests! Just one of the many reasons to celebrate is a 6.4% increase on our math proficiency! Go Wildcats!

TEST RESULTS ARE IN: Today, the State Board of Education released testing and accountability data for the 2025-2026, and there is good news for Gaston County Schools.

▪ Highest year-to-year increase in student proficiency on state tests
▪ Graduation rate reaches an all-time high of 90 percent

Our first classroom spotlight of the year features our fifth graders! They were challenged to be engineers and figure out a solution to save the ants! Their desks represented ant hills, and they had to choose an item to connect 2 desks so the ants could cross from one ant hill to the other without touching the ground. They all accomplished the task with their own flare!
